What is everyone saying?

  • Attended a brilliant yoga session for 3-5yr olds today. Vic was warm and welcoming and ran a great session which kept my 5 year old engaged including yoga poses, breath work, stories and an introduction to crystals. He kept saying, ‘this is so much fun!’ I’ll definitely be booking again. Thanks!

    Mum of George, Age 5

  • My 7 year old has loved her sessions with Vic! At her recent Mindfulness workshop she learned valuable self-care tools, especially breathing poses like the wood chop and the humming bee. Her classes are fun and engaging and my daughter always looks forward to them! Highly recommended!

    Mum of Sammie, Age 7

  • Both of my children have loved Yoga with Vic. They learnt about breathing and were delighted to show me the new poses they had been taught. They all had a lot of fun on the journey too. Thanks Vic.

FAQs

  • Yoga is beneficial for all ages with so many benefits for both mind and body.

Research has shown physical benefits such as improved balance and strength.

Research also shows children are calmer after yoga and better at regulating emotions

When yoga is taught in school suspensions and cases of bullying decreased.

See more research on the benefits of children’s yoga on our School and nursery visits page and on www.yoga4schools.com

  • To keep classes affordable I don’t ask parents to buy a uniform. Children should wear anything they can move comfortably in

  • No! Children’s classes are much more fun. We have games, partner work, music and yoga stories. Classes are active and finish with a final relaxation - but this is shorter than in most adult classes.

  • I would love to! It’s my mission to spread yoga to as many children and teens as possible. Please send me an email with your child’s school’s details and I’ll see what I can do.

1:1 Yoga:

1:1 yoga classes are a great option for children who find group classes overwhelming or have a particular goal or need. I can tailor classes to your child’s need with focus on creating clam, finding focus or building up strength after an injury. 1:1 classes allow me to move at your child’s pace and plan lessons around their interests and also to build a strong teacher student relationship which has many benefits in yoga.

If you’re interested in booking a 1:1/small group yoga class please email me on vic@innerchildyogaschool.com and I can answer any questions you have and find a time to book you in. If you are local to Horsham I can visit your home and teach yoga in person, if you are further afield I can teach yoga virtually over zoom. I have a portal set up on a very large screen so I can see clearly that your child is moving safely.

“My girlie enjoys her sessions. Being neuro-divergent with EDS and CFS it is her bit of time to focus on herself in a safe space in a positive way helping her with current & future challenges”

Dani

“I can not recommend your 1 to 1 classes enough. My daughter was fully engaged throughout, it was lovely being tailor-made to her needs and she was definitely less anxious and slept better afterwards. Thank you Victoria”
